Augusta, GA – If Tiger Woods is going to make a charge for the Masters Green Jacket again, he showed in the Arnold Palmer Invitational that he is on track to resume his dominance. Going into the last round with a one shot lead, Tiger showed his killer instinct again, stretching the lead to 5 by the final hole.
Tiger has never won a major without winning his previous competition. He won for the seventh time at Bay Hill and has tremendous momentum going into the Masters. Look for Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Bubba Watson lead a young group of highly ranked players along with wily veteran Phil Mickelson to really put the pressure on Tiger as Rory looks for his first and Phil looks to win his fourth.
Even if you don’t like Tiger Woods as a person, golf and the PGA are better off when Tiger not just plays, but is competitive.
