- Chicago, Il – After losing two straight road games, and looking very meager doing so, Monday’s visit to Chicago was thought by most to be another loss for our Denver Nuggets. The Bulls had the leagues best record at 40-10, and even without Derrick Rose, have proven to be dominant at home. THIS…..is why they play the games……After starting the game in an 8-0 hole, Denver bounced back and throttled Chicago, blowing them out, 108-91. The Nuggets looked listless and unmotivated in their past two games, losing badly to both Utah and Minnesota. The stunning win tonight moved Denver back into the 8th and final playoff spot in the West, at 27-23. With just 16 games left, each game is critical as the season winds down. 8 teams are within 4 games of eachother in the Western Conference, so there will be a lot of jockeying for position on a nightly basis. Will the Nuggets be a playoff team in 2012? Anyone who claims they know the answer for sure is not telling the truth. This team has shown the ability to beat the best teams in the league, and yet lose to anyone in the NBA as well.
