Denver, CO. Week 3 in the NFL brought a ridiculous amount of crazy, wild outcomes that very few fans saw coming. Personally, it was the worst week of picks I have made in at least a few years. In all actuality, a large percentage of experts had very rough weeks as well, so it is what it is and we now move on! Yours truly went 6-10, as I am now 29-19 for the season. My colleague, “Headline”, is licking his wounds after a brutal 4-12 week, and is 23-25 for the year. He is simply searching for answers at this point, and has consulted the magic 8-ball to help him going forward……on to week #4……

Headline….holy smokes, where do I begin with you?…..Let’s be clear about what I have said about Romo and Tebow first. I have said Romo is a top 10 QB who has outstanding regular season stats. Does he need to win more in the playoffs? Absolutely. Is he better than Cutler? Absolutely. If you disagree, read my article from today, “Jay Cutler vs Tony Romo: Who is the bigger enigma?” I point out several stats where Romo has a decided edge. I have never said Romo is anything more than that, so don’t put words in my mouth. As far as Tebow is concerned, the only time I supported Tebow was last year. I said he was a far better option for that Broncos team than Kyle Orton. If you still disagree with that, you are a dolt and a fool. He proved he was better in that situation. And my support for Vick? I have never said anything really about Vick. I have said I do believe the Eagles will win the NFC East in 2012. So yet again, you put words in my mouth. Get your facts about what I said correct, OK? You just sound foolish otherwise.
I don’t hate the Giants. Just because I pick them to lose at times doesn’t mean I have a vendetta against them. Just because I pick the Browns, Vikings, Rams, or whoever else to lose doesn’t mean I dislike them. What don’t you get about this concept?

Keep in mind, you’ve supported Romo, Vick, and Tebow… I don’t think your list is any better. If anything, Cutler might have the best chance to succeed out of the six that have been mentioned.
And you don’t hold grudges, Giants vs the Raiders in the Super Bowl… Who do you root for? Why?

I would listen to you potentially, but your picks have been awful and are under .500 for the year. Picking the Eagles has nothing to with a love affair. Philly has not played well at all, but are due this week. So you don’t like Vick, and that’s fine, as he has been bad so far. The NFL is a week to week league, as fans overreact all the time. I don’t hold grudges against teams, as you and most do. It’s easy to jump on Vick right now, and it’s the popular thing to do…and by the way, why would I even take into account an opinion from a guy who has supported Kyle Orton, Carson Palmer, and Jay Cutler? You, my friend, are delusional…… Have I mentioned I am already 6 games up on you just three weeks into this year?
You are far back in my rearview mirror and fading quickly.

Simp, what is your love affair with the Eagles about? Or are you still sore with the Giants for beating your beloved Tom Brady last year? It’s real simple, the Eagles will go nowhere with Vick at the helm. Giants win!
