Denver, CO. Someone in the NBA offices wants the Denver Nuggets to start off slowly to begin this upcoming season. The 2012-2013 regular season schedule has now been released, and the Nuggets will kick it off with an east coast trip to Philadelphia on October 31st. They then head to Orlando and Miami before coming back to Denver for their home opener on November 6th vs Detroit. The first two months are jam-packed with road games, as 17 of the first 23 are away from the Pepsi Center. Some notable home games include the World Champion Heat in Denver on November 15th, The Los Angeles Lakers first trip here on December 26th, and Carmelo and the Knicks visit the Mile High City on March 13th. January will be a month where the Nuggets will be sleeping in their own beds a lot, as 12 of the 15 games are in Denver. The brutal early season schedule will put this team to the test, as a very talented, deep roster should be a huge benefit to keep them afloat. Only three months until the new season begins, as the Nuggets aim to make a 10th straight post-season appearance.
